This is a small cocoa app which should in theory prevent a file from being recovered. It is currently untested with recovery software so i don't know how well it will work.

Although it works well with small files, large files (200mb) can take up to 1 min per overwrite.

If you get scrambled text when you attempt to d/l the file, please control-click and choose download link to disk.
